Who We Are and What We Do
We are a team of world travelers. We formed this company out of a passion for travel and our desire to share our knowledge and connections with our friends who also love travel. We have served as “goto” advisers for years, and have had the fortune to meet the right people on the ground, vet their services, visit their countries, sample their properties and forge favorable contracts that enable us to offer travel services that exceed expectations and don’t break the bank.
The custom trips we plan are inspired by your imagination and supported by our conversations with you on how you like to travel, what intrigues you, and what your budget allows.

The conversation is the most important starting point for crafting a proposal to meet your requirements, one that is based on our team’s comprehensive research, our own travel experiences, and our powerful connections with in-country, boots-on-the-ground partners who consistently deliver experiences that “wow” our guests.

Where We Focus
Our guidance is based on our experience within a particular destination. Our partnerships with in-country operators and continuing education through these relationships enable us to customize a trip to your budget and travel preferences. If we have not highlighted a country you have an interest in visiting, we can use our connections to introduce an expert and continue to assist you with the planning process.

Join a Group Tour
If you enjoy traveling in a small group led by a travel expert with an insider's track to provide a culturally immersive experience, or you are a single traveler who wants to enjoy the journey with a group of like minded travelers, consider one of the group tours. Latitude offers several such tours annually and posts them on the website as they are designed. Group size is limited to 5-12 and sometimes smaller depending on the destination.

Mission Wildlife Conservation is a 501 (c) (3) Not For Profit organization whose mission is to support species conservation through fundraising, awareness and education. Latitude is a major sponsor of MWC and supports fundraising efforts through direct contribution from company profits, and as well as curating auction items for the events. Each year MWC selects various animal conservation organizations. In 2021 the benefactors are:
PAINTED DOG CONSERVATION Supporting one of the most endangered species in all of Africa through the protection of the painted dogs and their habitat and engaging and local communities in Zimbabwe
SAVE PANGOLINS Raising awareness for the world’s most trafficked mammal and supporting seven pangolin conservationists and researchers located in Nepal, Malaysia, India, Cameroon, Nigeria and Central and West Africa
CONSERVATION AMBASSADORS of Pasa Robles, CA Providing a permanent home for displaced, abused and abandoned wildlife and sharing these animal ambassadors through outreach programs with school children and learners of all ages to educate them about conservation, connect them to the wild world, and inspire them to protect the planet.
The House of Beyond is a private travel membership "by invitation only" organization.
In 2020, after more than a decade of carefully curating the PURE Life Experiences, L.E/Miami, We Are Africa and Further East communities, Beyond’s Founder, Serge Dive, decided to unite the top suppliers, buyers and media from each of these communities to work and play under one roof, every day of the year. This virtual community enables tour operators such as Latitude to speak daily, "on demand" with the top industry suppliers and leaders.
RemoteLA is a community of small, independent travel suppliers from throughout Latin America that has invited the most innovative travel designers across the globe to participate. Latitude is a founding member of the Study Group initiative within the community that brings together small groups periodically to discuss issues, successes and challenges across a variety of travel topics.
The International Airlines Travel Agent Network is a Miami based association in the USA representing the interests of its member companies and the U.S. travel distribution network. It is an independent department of the International Air Transport Association.
IATAN's mission is to promote professionalism, administer meaningful and impartial business standards, and provide cost-effective products and services that benefit the travel industry based in the United States.
Originally launched in 2020 to fill the void left by the cancellation of so many trade shows, Our Africa Travel is a virtual trade show reconnecting African exhibitors who offer accommodations or special experiences all over Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands to luxury travel designers throughout the globe. Latitude staff regularly participate in one-on-one virtual meetings twice a year to stay up to date with new experiences and properties, and updates from key travel suppliers.
Our staff regularly attends in person travel conferences hosted throughout the world to better educate ourselves and stay up to date. We also participate in virtual trade shows to cement these relationships and meet new people. The sponsors and suppliers often invite us on Familiarization trips so we can experience their services and properties. Our goal is for each of our staff commits to one or two of these "Fams" per year. so they can better serve our guests.

We Are Africa
We Are Africa holds a four day conference in Cape Town, South Africa where travel buyers from across the globe similar Latitude Expeditions can meet with suppliers from all over the continent. The forum gives us the opportunity to meet new suppliers, see new products and enjoy immersive, inspiring thought-leadership with carefully curated business meetings and powerful bonding experiences for members who share a common purpose: to grow high-end travel to Africa, as part of our continued mission to offer the best the continent has to offer.
The organization also brings African suppliers to North America to meet those travel buyers who cannot attend the larger African conference. The conferences are by invitation only to the travel buyers who best represent African luxury travel.
RemoteLA is a community of creative hoteliers, properties, and destination management companies that seek to interact with the most innovative travel designers in the world, using both in person intensive meetings and virtual conferences. The goal of the organization is to form life long relationships in the pursuit of providing unique travel experiences within Latin America.
Emotions Latin America
Emotions is a focused, small niche travel event that invites travel buyers to get to know the best travel suppliers from the region, all together for 4 days of one on one meetings. Latitude participates in the Latin America Emotions conference held in Buenos Aires annually, alternating with the in person conference held by RemoteLA each year.
Tour & Travel Exchange
Now celebrating its ninth year, Tour & Travel Exchange (TTE) is a boutique travel show bringing motivated buyers together with a wide variety of international destinations and suppliers. TTE is solely focused on long-haul travel and limits participation to approximately 50 North American buyers & 50 suppliers ensuring that all attendees have ample time to build relationships and learn from all participants over the course of the three day event. The show is held in the US and enables us more time in building relationships with our key suppliers around the globe.
